Summer Camps 2014

All-sports CampAll-Sports Camp
Campers will enjoy a week learning and playing a variety of sports including: basketball, soccer, baseball, kickball, dodge ball, and other outdoor activities. Bring sun screen and a sack lunch daily. Lunch will be provided Friday and each camper will receive a camp t-shirt.

Gymnastics CampsGymnastics Camps
Each day campers will enjoy gymnastics, tumbling, games, arts & crafts. Gymnastics experience is not required.
All activities are inside state of the art gymnastics center
and are led by RFPRA gymnastics staff.
Daily snack included.

Tennis CampTennis Camps

Campers will be placed in a group appropriate to age and skill level. Coaches focus on solid fundamental strokes through match play, drills, fitness. Fun activities are incorporated into the daily schedule. Players are encouraged to bring their own equipment.

The tennis center provides scaled down court, mobile tennis net and foam balls for ages 7 and under. Full size "modified" courts and nets are used for ages 8 and older. A light snack will be provided; each player needs to bring a water bottle daily.

FUN-damental Soccer Camp
Build upon your individual soccer skills, in a fun, encouraging environment with an excellent
training staff. The NGU youth soccer camps
provide a stress-free environment in which
young participants can develop and apply the
fundamentals of soccer—from the
development and application of critical
skills to the understanding and
execution of game strategy-all while balancing fun and
instruction. A light snack will be provided for your camper each day. Campers will be divided into age groups.

Eagle Golf CampEAGLE Golf Camp

This camp teaches the fundamentals of golf through age and ability appropriate lessons. This PGA recognized program combines experienced coaches with fun golf games in an encouraging learning environment. Lessons include putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing shots; the rules and history of the game; scoring; parts of the golf course; golf equipment; course etiquette
and responsibilities; and an introduction to golf
fitness through stretching and balance exercises.
All equipment is provided for this program, although students are welcome to bring their own clubs.
Students will receive a daily snack, and will compete
for awards and prizes. All skill levels welcome.

Spend a week in the wild: fishing,

Lego CampLEGO Summer Camp

LEGO building fun for all ages and skill levels. Campers will be introduced to simple machine concepts, build and explore motorized machines all while building teamwork and communication skills. We will combine learning and FUN through organized
builds, free play, crafts and more!

Sassy Girl Camp Sassy Girl Camp
It's all about fun this week: fashion, pampering, crafts, dance and more. Participants will enjoy
facials, mani/pedi's, learn the latest in hair, have
a fashion show, make jewelry, learn the latest dance moves, enjoy crafts and sweet treats.
Bring a bag lunch each day.

Princess CampPrincess Camp

This camp has everything little girls love…dance, music, dress up, tea parties, stories, crafts and more. Children will spend their time "being princesses" while learning proper manners, self-esteem, social interaction with others, coordination and dance movements.
Daily activities will be based on popular fairy tale princesses; campers are encouraged to dress up each day! Campers will be divided into age groups upon arrival. A light snack will be provided for your camper each day.

American Girl American Girl Camp
Bring your favorite American Girl
(No worries if you don't have an
American Girl, any doll will be great)
and join in on a fun week full of crafts, a fashion show, stories, tea time, a hair salon for the dolls
and learning the history of the dolls. Each participant will bring home a special craft that they make for their doll. We'll also take a special trip to the American Girl store in Alpharetta. Bring a bag lunch, snacks will be provided.

Camp Anthony 2014

Anthony Weekly Summer Camp is a traditional summer camp which follows a schedule of fun, structured activities including games, contests, swimming and a weekly trip. Camp provides breakfast and lunch through the Federal Food Program (for those who qualify). Register for all summer or pick and choose your weeks.

Anthony Week 1: A Very Berry Summer, May 27-30
Get ready for a fun hike up Lavender Mountain. Once we reach the top will picnic with a beautiful view of Rome. We'll complete our trip with a guided tour of the House of Dreams.

We will have a fun game of bowling at the Classic Lanes. We'll complete the week with some challenging games of competition that are all about fun.

Strap on your boots and step back into the days of the wild west. Explore the Booth Western Art Museum, learn about life on the ranch through crafts, games and stories.

Discover the science behind electricity, music and art. Explore the world class Tellus museum to open your mind and ignite a passion for science.

Hollywood WeekAnthony Week 5: Hollywood Week
June 23-27

Enjoy the glitz and glamour of a movie star. Complete the week with a visit to the
movie theatre.

History WeekAnthony Week 6: History Week

Celebrate our U.S. History. We'll visit the Chickamauga Battlefield, see a civil war reenactment and make
patriotic jewelry.

Bounce WeekAnthony Week 7: Bounce Week
July 14-18

A week of games that will make you flip - literally! We'll learn many new indoor and outdoor games and make a special trip to the gymnastics center for open gym time on the trampolines and foam pits.

Cavern WeekAnthony Week 8: Cavern Week
July 21 - 25

Topping this week is a visit to Raccoon Mountain Cavern where we will go deep inside the mountain to explore another world.

Splish Splash WeekAnthony Week 9: Splish, Splash Week
July 28 - August 1

It's the last week of summer, so we'll end it with a big splash!
Enjoy water slides and water games.
We'll top it off with a pizza party.
