LEGO Summer Camps

Ages: 5-7 Time: 9-12: For the younger camper, this is perfect for introducing key simple machines concepts while building teamwork and communications skills. The camp will feature problem-solving and hands-on activities that will develop elementary students understanding of basic physical science concepts such as gears, pulleys, levers, and wheels and axles through observation, reasoning, prediction, and critical thinking.
Ages: 8 – 14 Time: 1-4: Designed for our older campers; students will build and explore
machines and mechanisms, investigate motorized machines, calibrate and capture wind and study gearing mechanisms.

Tennis Camps
Camper will be placed in a group appropriate to age and skill level. Coaches focus on solid fundamental strokes through match play, drills, fitness. Fun activities are incorporated into the daily schedule. Players are encouraged to bring their own equipment.
The tennis center provides scaled down court, mobile tennis net and foam balls for ages 7
and under. Full size "modified" courts and nets are used for ages 8 and older. A light snack will be provided; each player needs to bring a water bottle daily.

NGU Adidas Soccer Camps
Build upon your individual soccer skills, in a fun environment with an excellent training staff. The NGU youth soccer camps provide a stress-free atmosphere in
which young participants can develop and apply the fundamentals of soccer—from the development and application of critical skills to the understanding and execution of game strategy. Lunch is provided daily.
Location: Thornton Center/ North Floyd Park Soccer Fields. Final day will be held at Barron Stadium.

EAGLE Golf Camp
This camp teaches
the fundamentals of golf
through age and ability
appropriate lessons. This PGA
recognized program combines experienced coaches with fun golf games in an encouraging
learning environment. Lessons include putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing shots; the rules and history
of the game; scoring; parts of the golf course; golf equipment; course etiquette and responsibilities; and an introduction to golf fitness through stretching and balance exercises. All equipment is provided for this program, although students are welcome to bring their own clubs. Students will
receive a daily snack, and will compete for awards and prizes. All skill levels welcome.

Each day campers will enjoy gymnastics, tumbling, games, arts & crafts. Gymnastics experience is not required. Daily snack and drink included. All activities are inside state of the art gymnastics center and is led by RFPRA gymnastics staff.

Each week of camp follows a schedule of fun, structured activities including games, contests, swimming and a weekly trip. Take a trip to the Pop'N'Corn Theatre for a special film, drink & popcorn. This week we will also enjoy a visit from the K-9 Police Dog Force.
