Singles Flex League
It is time to sign up for the Singles Flex League playing on Monday nights from June 2, 2008 until July 28, 2008.

The Singles Flex League gives players the opportunity to enjoy organized singles matches with an emphasis on the fun and fitness benefits of tennis with flexible scheduling.  Matches will be "scheduled" on Monday nights, but can be rescheduled prior to the next match date, if both singles players agree.  You are allowed to play up one level, but you cannot play below your NTRP rated level.

This is a great opportunity for those who want to play singles during Combo and/or Mixed Doubles season and also for anyone who might be interested in playing singles in the upcoming Adult season in the Fall.  Captains would also benefit from having their singles players in this league and also to scout for potential singles players.  This league will assist in helping singles players keep up with their playing skills and/or to develop their skills.

This program consists of male and female singles players competing against other male and female players at the different NTRP levels.  Levels of play are 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5.  Players must be USTA members, but this is a recreational league and these matches will have NO effect on your NTRP ratings.

Fun Fridays
Come out and enjoy a Friday night round of tennis, socializing, prizes and fun. All levels welcome.

Summer Adult and Senior Combo Teams
This program consists of the same gender teams competing against each other at the different NTRP levels. Levels of play are: Ladies 5.0, 5.5, 6.5, and 7.5 and Men's 5.5, 6.5, and 7.5. The format of play for this program is 3 doubles positions for all levels. The winners from each level are given the opportunity to advance to the State Championships. To be eligible to participate in this program, a player must maintain a membership to the United States Tennis Association and be a minimum of 19 years old. An 18 year old may participate if they are going to turn 19 years of age during the year of sign up.

Cost: $22 plus tennis link fee
Days: 5.0 & 6.5 levels play Tuesday evenings, 5.5  & 7.5 levels play Thursday evenings

General Tennis Information

The Rome-Floyd Tennis Center is open for regular play and features 16 lighted tennis courts. The facility was named by USTA as facility of the Year in 1992, this center serves as the hub for tennis activity in Rome and Floyd County.
