The 68 acre Alto Park,
located on Burnett Ferry
Road in Rome, Georgia,
is the centralized site for
community softball
services in Floyd County.
The 10 court, lighted
tennis center is open for
public play and also
facilitates local USTA
League play and tournaments. The park
also offers support
amenities to include
shaded picnic and
playground facilities, a
picnic pavilion, outdoor stage, volleyball court, open space areas, and trails. Through a
valued partnership with Shorter College, the lower fields of Alto Park were recently redeveloped
into the Lower Alto Tri-Plex Fast Pitch Complex, home to the Lady Hawks Softball Team.
