Free Outdoor Movie at Bridge Point Plaza
The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority and the Downtown Development Authority invites the public to attend A Night at the Museum 2, a free outdoor movie at Bridge Point Plaza on Friday, October 30. Movie concessions will be available for sale when the gates open at 6 PM. The movie will start after sunset at 7 PM. Bring chairs and blankets for lawn seating. (Sorry,pets are not allowed.)

Relay for Life
The Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation Authority is proud to partner with American Cancer Society to fight back against cancer. The community will come together at Ridge Ferry Park to celebrate cancer survivors and remember those lost to cancer. The fun filled event will raise money and awareness to help eliminate cancer.
When: 2009 Relay for Life,has been rescheduled for June 26-27

Willard Nixon Sports Hall of Fame Golf Tournament
Details about the Willard Nixon Sports Hall of Fame Golf Tournament are announced after the Hall of Fame. The tournament is typically held the 2nd week of June. The 4 Man Scramble Entry fee covers green fees, cart fees, range balls, lunch and beverages for a team of four. Last year the tournament was held at Barnsley Gardens .
