Northside Swim Center Pool

The Northside Swim Center features a large pool and twirling slide with splash area. Other poolside amenities include concessions, playground and picnic pavilions. Concessions including drinks and snacks are available for sale during open swim.

Open Swim Information 2013

Public Open Swim: May 25 - Aug 3
Monday - Saturday: 11 AM - 5 PM

Public Open Swim: Aug 3 - Sep 2
Saturday: 11 AM - 5 PM
Labor Day, Sep 2: 11 AM - 5 PM

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Only persons with paid admission are allowed inside pool gate.

Admission: $5 (3 yrs & up)

Swimming Lessons 2013

The best thing children and adults can do to stay safe in and near the water is to learn to swim!

Ages: Classes Offered 6 Months – 17 years old
Class Days: 2 Week Session (8 Classes) Mon-Thurs,
45 minute class

Swim Class Sessions & Class Descriptions
Classes offered June - July
Session 1: Jun 3 - 13, 5:30 pm
Session 2: Jun 17 - 27, 9 am, 10 am & 5:30 pm
Session 3: Jul 8 - 18, 9 am, 10 am & 5:30 pm

Parent Tot (Ages 6-36 Months; Parent participation required)
This class is for infants and toddlers who have little or no water experience. Participants will learn about the water through games, songs & safe play. Parents must accompany child into the water.

Preschool Swim Class (Ages 3-5)
This fun class teaches children basic water safety and swimming skills. Parents are not required to be in the water.

Level 1 & 2 Swim Class (Ages 6+)
Swimmers will start to learn basic water exploration and swimming skills. This class covers submersion under the water, floating & gliding on front and back, rhythmic breathing, safety and survival skills, and front and back crawls at a beginner level.
