General Pool Information

The pool opens Saturday May 29, 2010!
We offer swimming lessons, public open swim sessions and pool rentals.

All 2010 Season Passes are SOLD OUT!

The Northside Swim Center features a large pool and twirling slide with splash area. Other poolside amenities include concessions, playground and picnic pavilions. The pool is open Monday through Saturday for Open Swim and is available daily for rentals during the swim season. Swimming lessons are offered in June though August.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Only persons with paid admission are allowed inside pool gate.

Admission: $5 (3 yrs & up)

Season Passes
Early Bird Special: $99 (family of four) Must purchase Mar 1 - May 31. Season passes are $149 after May 31.

Concessions including drinks and snacks are available for sale during open swim.

Aqua Aerobics are safe and fun without
impact to the joints.

Swimming Lessons 2010
The best thing children and adults can do to stay safe in and near the water is to learn to swim! Our instructors follow the American Red Cross Learn to Swim program.
Ages: Classes offered 6 months - adult
Cost: $40
Class Days: 2 week session (8 classes) Mon - Thur
Location: Northside Swim Center

Morning and afternoon sessions are offered Jun - Aug.

Class Descriptions

Parent Tot Swim Class (6-36 months)
This class is for infants and toddlers who have little or no water experience. Participants will learn about the water through games, songs and safe play. Parents must accompany child into the water .

Preschool Swim Class (3-5)
This fun class teaches children basic water safety and swimming skills. Parents are not required to be in the water.

Level 1 & 2 Swim Class (6 & up)
Swimmers will start to learn basic water exploration and swimming skills. This class covers submersion under the water, floating and gliding on front and back, rhythmic breathing, safety and survival skills, and front and back crawls at a beginner level.

Level 3 Swim Class (6 & up)
This class is designed to build on the skills developed in Level 1 & 2. Focus is on stroke development with front & back crawl. The butterfly kick, treading water and dives are introduced.

Active Adult Swim Class (50 & up)
Have you ever wanted to learn to swim? This is the class to help you gain confidence and basic skills.
