Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation in cooperation with Unlimited Potential presents a one-day youth baseball clinic on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Thornton Center Gymnasium.
The clinic features former Major League Baseball and minor league players working with boys and girls ages 7 to 14 on hitting, pitching, fielding, catching and more. Doors open at 11 a.m. with instruction beginning promptly at noon.
At the end of the clinic, former major leaguers will sign autographs and share how their faith helped them reach their full potential.
Players will need to wear baseball attire, tennis shoes and bring their own gloves. Registration is $25 per athlete and everyone registered before Feb. 8 gets a clinic t-shirt. Registration can be done in person at our offices at 1 Shorter Avenue or online at rfpra.com.
